I have created a colorful brush art piece featuring the Japanese character “向日葵” (himagari), meaning sunflower, on traditional Japanese paper (washi). The powerful strokes of the character extend into an image of a sunflower facing the sun, symbolizing vitality and strength. The warmth of the washi paper enhances the liveliness of the sunflower, bringing a sense of warmth and sunshine to the viewer.
