Color Brush Art
I expressed the process of tradition, innovation, and growth contained in the Chinese characters “Shu-Ha-Ri” through color. With powerful brushstrokes, I depicted the process of first respecting tradition and learning forms, then breaking away from them and opening up one’s own path. Finally, with a single powerful stroke, I expressed the moment when one finally breaks away from one’s teacher and reaches one’s own state of mind. Through this work, I visually expressed the process of growth in martial arts and the arts.
「守破離」という漢字が持つ、伝統と革新、そして成長を表す過程を色彩で表現しました。力強い筆致で、まず伝統を重んじ、形を学び、次にそれを破り、独自の道を開く様子を描きました。そして、最終的に師から離れ、独自の境地へ至る瞬間を、力強い一筆で表現しました。この作品を通して、武道や芸術における成長の過程を視覚的に表現しました。
