Concept

I created 「color」 brush art using traditional calligraphy brush strokes to express the soothing world of color calligraphy by blending it with natural landscapes.

I create freely, interpreting the colors that emerge from Japanese kanji in my own way.

I always use calligraphy brushes, and create my works while respecting calligraphy brush strokes.

I take on challenges with the desire to love tradition while also trying new things.
I hope that my work will bring you a sense of peace and healing, and nothing would make me happier than that.

・伝統のある書道の筆使いを利用して自然風景など融合して癒されるカラー書道の世界を表現しようと｢カラー｣ブラッシュアートを創り上げました。

・日本の漢字から湧き出る色彩を自分なりに解釈して自由に創作をしています。
あくまでも、書道の筆を使用し、書道の筆使いを大切にしながら制作しています。

・伝統を愛しながら新しいものに挑戦していくそのような気持ちで挑戦しています。
どうか、安らぎなどを感じて癒されてもらえたらそれほどうれしいものはありません。

鎌田惺舟/Seisyu Kamata: 大阪市出身
5歳のころより書道に親しみ、”書道には人を癒す効果”があると確信し、
独自の”｢Color｣ Brush Art®”和紙を使用したカラー書道を創造する。
漢字の意味が発するイメージを色彩と様々な形で、ダイナミックに表現する。

鎌田惺舟が「カラー」ブラッシュアートという新たな表現形式を生み出したのは、書道の修行を通して得た深い経験が根底にあります。書道に没頭する中で、彼女は単なる文字の羅列を超えた、見る人に癒しや感動を与える作品を作りたいと強く願うようになりました。

その思いを形にするため、従来の書道とは異なるアプローチを試みます。まず、使用紙を白い和紙に限定し、文字の色を紙の色と近いトーンにすることで、文字が紙から浮かび上がるような立体感を追求しました。さらに、文字の輪郭をラメで縁取ることで、光を反射させ、より一層立体的な表現を実現しました。

和紙の持つ温かみと、ラメの輝きが融合することで、「カラー」ブラッシュアートは、従来の書道とは一線を画す、独特の世界観を確立しました。書道という伝統的な表現形式に、現代的な感性と素材を組み合わせることで、彼女は全く新しいアートの扉を開いたのです。
